Description
REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 14,421 rentable square feet yielding a minimum 12,540 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of contiguous office and related space in Poughkeepsie, New York. First floor space is preferred for SSA but a portion of the space (for OHA) cannot be on the ground floor. Above ground floor will be considered for SSA, but there must be two elevators. 70 parking spaces must be provided as part of the lease. Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space. The delineated area is the city limits of Poughkeepsie. Space must meet the Federal Government's standards for fire safety and must be ADA compliant. The requested space must be in a building capable of being altered to meet the Government's needs and security requirements. Secure office space and facilities in an office building, fully serviced, and altered to Government specifications are required, to include ample windows to provide natural lighting and both public and separate employee rest rooms (located in the non-public area of the office). Lease term is 10 yrs, 5 firm for existing buildings and 10 years firm in the event of new construction. Space offered must have potential for efficient layout. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership. Expressions of interest should include 1) Building name and address to include the full nine (9) digit zip code, 2) Available square feet and rate per square foot, 3) Common area factor(s) for available space by floor, if applicable, 4) Rentable and ANSI/BOMA square feet offered, and 5) Owner's name and address and written statement from owner that the offeror has legal authority to provide information on the property. This is neither a solicitation for offers nor a request for proposals. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred as a result of this ad.
