- DESCRIPTION. This is an Amendment to the Research Announcement W911W6-06-2-0005 posted in the FedBizOpps on 10 March 2006. The following question was received and with the following response. Question: The announcement states that: The offeror m ust substantiate their notional AATE configuration relevant to existing system upgrades or emerging Army platforms. Can the Army supply information on existing system upgrades or emerging Army platforms? Answer: The chart found at link (http://www.aatd. eustis.army.mil/Business/Divisions/Contracting/Acc_Announ.asp) details the Army's current plans relative to existing and emerging platforms. Note that this is a long range planning document and subject to change. The term Upgrades in the statement above refers generically to potential upgrades to the existing platforms that could arise from the offeror's notional AATE configuration or technologies being applied to an existing platform or how the offeror's AATE technology could benefit a planned upgrade to a given platform. This office does not have an all-inclusive list of the planned upgrades to the various Army air vehicles/platforms. Each offeror must use their contacts with OEMs or other sources to attain this information. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITO NS REMAIN UNCHANGED.
