Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Solicitation FA4664-06-R-0002 is issued as a Commercial Solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition will be set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code is 811310 with a small business size standard of $6 Million. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, materials, transportation, delivery and appliances necessary to: Provide Golf Cart Maintenance for approximately 100 golf carts, both gas and electric to include, but not limited to, Club Car, GEM, Bombardier, Kawasaki and Cushman. All work to be completed on March Air Reserve Base at designated facility. This will include an annual inspection, quarterly inspections, provisions for emergency and/or unscheduled maintenance and parts. The start date of service shall be no later than 30 days ARO (after receipt of order) or sooner. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial, applies to this acquisition. This will be a commercially awarded contract that will have a 6 month base period of performance, and 2 (two) 12-month options resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Unit price per inspection, parts mark-up and labor per hour, factors having the same weighing. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held on 21 March 2006 at 0930. Interested parties will meet at the March Air Reserve Base Pass and Registration parking lot behind the main gate. Potential offerers planning to attend the pre-proposal conference are required to submit the participant?s name(s) to the individual listed below.
