- The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment and incidental supplies necessary to pave Clear Creek Road No. 909 including the shooting range parking lot located on the Cumberland Ranger District in Bath County, Kentucky on the Daniel Boone National Forest. This work consists of paving Forest Service Road No. 909 from Highway 36 including the shooting range parking lot and the removal of one (1) concrete low water ford and installing a new 3 sided bridge. The work includes 1) construction survey and staking, 1 lump sum; 2) contractor testing, 1 lump sum; 3) 100 feet of silt fence; 4) 10 each straw bales; 5) .5 acre of clearing and grubbing; 6) removal of structures and obstruction, 1 lump sum; 7) 870 cubic yards of roadway excavation, compaction method D; 8) 50 feet of drainage excavation, type, armored leadoff ditch; 9) 750 tons of aggregate base, grading DGA, compaction method C; 10) 320 tons of superpave asphalt concrete pavement, ? inch nominal maximum size aggregate, <0.3 ESAL?s; 11) 280 tons of of superpave asphalt concrete pavement, 3/8 inches nominal maximum size aggregate, <0.3 ESAL?s; 12) 54 feet of 18 inch corrugated metal pipe, .064 inch thickness; 13) 68 feet of 24 inch corrugated metal pipe, .064 inch thickness; 14) 21 each wheelstops; 15) .5 acre seeding, hydraulic method; 16) .5 acre mulching, hydraulic method; 17) 3 sided precast concrete bridge, delivered and installed,1 lump sum; 18) 4 each signs (including Posts); and 19) 450 feet of pavement markings type A. This project will be solicited using the Request for Proposal format. A pre-bid meeting/site visit will be held at a date, time and location to be specified in the solicitation.
