- Public Announcement/FEDBIZOPS: Overhead Pole Line Project Solicitation No. IFB-2006-070 INVITATION FOR BID: The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting Invitation For Bids from qualified firms to replace or perform maintenance on deteriorated wooden crossarms, aluminum secondary conductors, pole mounted transformers, wooden power poles and primary conductors for the High Voltage Department. The Presidio of San Francisco is a National Park and a National Historic Landmark District. Interested and qualified firms are invited to attend a ?Mandatory Site Visit? scheduled for Friday, March 31, 2006 at 1:00 pm local time. The site visit will start at Building 850 MacArthur Avenue, located in the Presidio. All responses must be emailed to Lela Chisolm, Contracting Officer at lchisolm@presidiotrust.gov before March 28, 2006. Telephone requests will not be accepted. A complete Invitation For Bid package will be available at the site visit. Only bids received from Firms attending the site visit will be accepted. The IFB will be due no later than 3:00pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2006. DATES ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Qualified small businesses (including small disadvantaged businesses and minority and women-owned small businesses) are strongly encouraged to respond. The Presidio Trust strongly encourages prime contractors to utilize small businesses, SDBs, HUBZone SBCs, minority- and woman-owned small businesses to the fullest extent consistent with efficient contract performance. The Presidio Trust is a wholly owned federal government corporation and is not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
