Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is H92241CRGO001 and this solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-07, Effective 02 Feb 2006. The associated NAICS code is 314999 and small business standard of 500 employees. The Government intends to purchase 240 each Cargo Tiedown Straps. These items will be designated as CLIN 0001. The requested items must meet the following specifications. CARGO STRAP REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS 2 in. wide x 27 ft long Cargo Tiedown Straps with at least 15,000 lbs total breaking strength on the tensoning buckle and 18,000 lbs breaking strength on the webbing. Webbing must be black in color with a Velcro strap-on assembly to take up adjustment excess. Must have an integral hook 2 inch buckle, captive hook must also be of the standard flat 2 inch design. Both hooks on the assembly must be captivated. Corrosion resistant plating on all metal components High Level Quality System at ISO 9001 or higher is required DCMA QAR must be present during testing. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract is contemplated. The delivery is preferred within 30 days after receipt of order. Place of delivery will be Cmdr, 160th SOAR (ABN), Bldg 7244 Nightstalker Way, Attn: Al Frye, Ft Campbell, KY 42223-6012. FOB is Destination. The Inspection / Acceptance is at Origin by a Government QAR. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.207-4 Economic Purchase Quantity Supplies; 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors?Commercial; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items (Offerors are instructed to complete this section and return with their quote); 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items; 52.246-11 Higher-Level Contract Quality Requirement The following DFAR clauses cited in this solicitation are applicable to this acquisition: 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items applies to this acquisition; 5652.246-9001 Material Inspection and Receiving Reports (DD250) Addresses; The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DOA1.
