Description

This is a notice of intent from the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division to issue a Firm Fixed Price Simplified Acquisition Purchase (SAP) Order, on an other than full and open competition basis, to Orbit Advanced Technologies, Inc., 506 Prudential Rd, Horsham, PA 19044. This order is for an Orbit AL-8011-1 Mounting Fixture. The 4.5.5 Radar and Antenna Systems Division currently uses an Orbit AL-8011 mounting fixture on a transmit tower. The fixture has failed and cannot be repaired. No other company manufactures a mounting fixture that is directly compatible with the Orbit 959 antenna measurement system. This purchase is therefore being made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
