Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) anticipates awarding a contract on a sole source basis to Geometrix Surveying, Inc. The contractor shall provide written and verbal technical, administrative managerial, historical and legal comments on the draft edition of the Manual of Surveying Instructions; including review and analysis of IBLA and court cases impacting the surveying of federal interest lands. The contractor possesses the knowledge and experience needed to develop the Manual of Surveyng. The contractor is very skilled with the BLM procedures. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSE ONLY: NO COMPETITIVE RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE. This award will be made on or about the 5th calendar day from the date this announcement appears. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541990. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid within five days of the date of the publication of this announcement, which will be considered by the Government. A determination not to continue with the acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
