Description

Gun Shield for the 25 mm main gun of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. Material is armor steel, forging, per MIL-S-13823 or optional material Armor Steel, Class 2, per Spec MIL-A-12560. Overall dimensions in inches are 22.75 length by 1.38 width by app rox. 1.0 thickness. Item has Four (4) slots 0.438 by 0.625. Protective finish is Forest Green Enamel per MIL-E-52798 or MIL-E-52835. The anticipated fixed-price contract will be for an initial production quantity currently estimated at 164 units, with o ne option not to exceed 100% of the initial quantity. Delivery terms will be FOB Destination. Estimated Request For Quotation issue date is 10 April 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
