- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 611692, Size Standard $6M. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2BDEQ6074A100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08 effective 05 January 2006. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001) with the potential of 3 One Year option CLINs for a Motor Cycle Safety Course. Services Non-Personal: Contractor will provide all study materials, helmets, fuel and properly maintained motorcycles in compliance with DOT and Massachusetts Dept of Motor Vehicles. Contractor must meet all requirements of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course. The Contractor will conduct the training at the Hanscom Air Force Base In Accordance With technical specifications provided on the Statement of Work. Period of Performance will begin on 14 April 2006 and end on 14 April 2007. Classes will be scheduled in accordance to specifications on the Statement of Work. FOB: Destination. Inspection and Acceptance: Destination. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.237-2. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of qualifications, past performance, and price. Offerors will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2.
