- The following modifies the previous pre-solicitation synopsis. The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a sole source award for the provision of Solid Waste Removal and Recycling Services for the Federal Correctional Institution, Sheridan, Oregon to Western Oregon Waste of McMinnville, Oregon per City Ordinance 91-4. The contractor shall provide solid waste removal and recycling services to include pick-up, haul and relocate trash produced by the Federal Correctional Institution Sheridan, Oregon. Estimated yearly equipment needing pulled will include: (2) 25 cubic yard compactors, (1) 31 cubic yard compactor, (3) 30 cubic yard open top container, (2) 40 cubic yard open top container, (1) 1.5 cubic yard container, (1) 10 quart sharps container, (1) 21 gallon waste box, (1) 48 gallon hospital waste box, (1) cardboard flatbed. for the base year and for each four (4) option years. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements? type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. Any interested parties must submit a written response on how they can fulfill the requirement by April 7, 2006. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 562111. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
