- Description
- The Coast Guard intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole-source procurement to L3 Communications, Titan Group, 3033 Science Park Road, San Diego, California 92121-1199 for the fabrication and installation of four (4) each light weight communications antennas using 3/16 inch phosphor bronze wire rope with 1/16 inch vinyl jacket on five (5) Coast Guard Cutters. Antennas must be capable of transmitting or receiving in the medium to high frequency band of 2-30 MHZ. L3 Communications, Titan Group is the only known vendor to manufacture LWCA for the US Navy thereby allowing the Coast Guard to utilize the SIMA maintenance facilities in San Diego. The NAICS Code is 334220. The small business size standard is 750 Employees. The contract type will be firm-fixed price. If no responses are received within fifteen (15) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with L3 Communications, Titan Group.
