- This requirement is being procured and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedues. The National Weather Service located in Ewa Beach, Hawaii intends to procure on a sole source basic with Kinemeterics, Inc, quantity (9) each, model ES-T surface triaxial force balance accelerometer with single + 12 input power option, and (9) each. cables - Q330 END: connectors both ends, 25 ft. Parts are part of the PTWC seismic network upgrade that includes accelerometers, which will be important components for key stations, (9) have been identified as ANSS backbone stations that are being installed as part of an agreement with the USGS. A requirement of the ANSS is that these accelerometers be Model FBA ES-T EpiSensors, manufactured by Kinemetrics. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $50,000 The Western Administrative Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this acquisition office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) before October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. for additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http:///www.ccr.gov/ .
