- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and no further solicitation will be issued. The office of National Marine Fisheries Service, Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center located in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking to purchase quantity 20,000 each Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT) tags. Evaluation factor-lowest price and the PIT tags should meet the following specifications: 1.) must be ISO 134.2 kHz, encapsulated in glass or plastic, and implantable by a 12 guage needle. 2.) Tags must be able to be detected by Destron Fearing FS2001F-ISO reader base unit. Delivery within 60 days after receipt og an order. This RFQ closes at 3:30 p.m. on April 7, 2006.
