Description
The Camp Pendleton Regional Contracting Office is soliciting quotes for the purchase of a fourteen passenger shuttle-bus manufactured in accordance with Federal Standard 833, with 4-wheel drive capability and some other amenities listed in the solicitation. This acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business under the NAICS code 336213 with a size standard of 1000 employees. A waiver of the non-manufacturer rule exists for vehicle chassis, under the NAICS code 336111. This acquisition is contingent upon the approval of a vehicle purchase waiver from GSA?s Automotive division. This acquisition will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures and the commercial items format as prescribed in FAR Parts 13 and 12. Interested parties may download the solicitation, which contains the minimum specifications, at the link provided below or contact the Contracting Officer. The solicitation will be available immediately after this notice is posted. Responding parties shall provide their price, quoted FOB Destination with delivery to the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms California; standard product literature on the vehicle they are quoting, plus information regarding the required 4x4 capability; the delivery date after receipt of order; and past performance information for federal government contracts of a similar nature, including point of contact, phone number, and a description of the vehicles provided. The Government will select the vehicle considered most advantageous to the Government, considering price, technical capability, delivery and past performance then select one vendor with whom to negotiate the details. If agreement cannot be reached with that vendor, the Government will move to another of the most advantageous vendors. Responses should be received no later than 4:00 PM (PST) on 3 April 2006.
