- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC San Diego), intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Saber Systems, Inc. of Lexington Park, Maryland. The Contractor will provide technician services training in support of the World Wide Ship Tracking (WWST) Program. Contractor support and training will be required in the areas of trouble calls, system installations and maintenance of the WWST program. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Use of any other contractor would result in substantial duplication of costs and delays for the Government based on the specialized WWST Program knowledge and experience of Saber Systems, Inc. developed under previous competitive procurements. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals.
