Description

In support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, the Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound, utilizing FAR Part 15(Contract by Negotiations), intends to solicit for 1 each, Shipboard Work Platform in accordance with Naval DWG M-1223. The 100% small business set-aside noncommercial solicitation will be issued on or about 6 April 2006, with a estimated closing date of 20 April 2006. Not a commercial (FAR Part 12) acquisition based upon market research. FOB Destination of supply is to Bremerton, WA. The required delivery date is 7 July 06. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time. An email request to dan.briest@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the solicitation from the NECO website.
