- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS) Point Mugu, CA intends to negotiate and award a LOE increase on the existing cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract using other than full and open competition to Brandes Associates, Inc. (BAI), Santa Barbara, CA. The procurement for additional effort is required because there is not available ceiling in the current contract to accommodate the expected increase in requirements for NavMPS support. As TAMPS is replaced by JMPS, now in transition, an increase in the requirements for NavMPS engineering services and technical support will result as JMPS provides its mission planning capabilities to numerous aircraft types, ship and shore sites, including FMS customers. The period of performance will also be modified for a basic period of five years vice the now four years. Individual Task Orders will be in support of developing and sustaining Naval Mission Planning Systems (NavMPS), including Foreign Military Sales support pertaining to NavMPS.
