- This is a solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13 and 15, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N61339-06-T-0029 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-08. This solicitation shall be awarded on a sole source basis to Masque Sound & Recording Corp dba Professional Wireless Systems. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. This solicitation sets forth the requirements for providing a wireless communication system specifically designed for the Combined Arms Staff Trainer (CAST) at Camp Pendleton, CA. The contractor shall provide a turnkey wireless intercom system for roving instructors based on the dual channel BTR-800 transceiver and the TR-825 belt pack., The system shall be based on 10 frequency agile transceivers and belt packs capable of high-fidelity full-duplex communications on two independent audio channels. All equipment shall be mounted in a single rack with all necessary cooling, EMI protection, power distribution connections, preamps, and a protective front door. Operation and maintenance manuals including system diagrams are required. The following quantities will be provided on CLIN 0001?12 Wireless Communications Systems. Award will be made in the form of a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The anticipated award date is O/A 10 April 2006. The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.204-7, 52.204-8, 52.222-26 DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A, 252.225-7031, 252.232-7003, 252.243-7001, 252.247-7023 Alt III. A completed copy of the following must be included with each quote: FAR 52.204-8. A completed copy of the following must be included with each quote unless ORCA and FAR 52.204-8 is submitted.
