- Maintenance dredging of unclassified material in the Georgetown Harbor, Winyah Bay, Georgetown County, South Carolina. Estimated quantity to be dredged is approximately 166,000 total cubic yards for the base bid and approximately 28,000 cubic yards for the additive item to be awarded if sufficient funds are available. The potential total is approximately 194,000 cubic yards. Dredge material shall be deposited in the Waccamaw Neck disposal area. The work also includes a disposal area report and com pliance with the Endangered Species Act and the Marine Mammals Protection Act. The contractor will commence work within 30 days of Notice to Proceed. Competition for this solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 237990 with a si ze standard of $18.5M. Additionally, to be considered a small business, the firm must perform at least 40% of the volume of dredging with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern. The magnitude of the work is $1M - $5M, incl uding the additive item. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of this solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders must register in CCR and on the website below in order to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of the bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments.
