Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ACA, Directorate of Contracting wishes to procure Box Truck Rental exclusively in the El Paso Metropolitan area. ACA, Directorate of Contracting is soliciting for four (4) Box Truck Renta l, 24 foot. ACA, Directorate of Contracting is requesting the weekly rate and the monthly rate. The period of performance is from 23 March 2006 through 30 September 2006. If selected, the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registratio n (CCR at http://www.ccr.gov) in order to receive the award at the time of selection. All items must be delivered to Fort Bliss, Texas, no later than 23 March 2006. The solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The following provisions and clauses apply: FAR and D FAR Clauses 52.203-6, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.219-6, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.232-1, 52.232-33, 52.243-1, and 252.2004-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. The preferred method of submission is electronic email to michael.rias@us.army.mil or by fax to 915-568-6111. The award will be made on the aggregate of the requirement and will be a firm-fixed price contract. The Government will award resulting from this solicitation to the offeror who submits the lowe st price technically acceptable offer to the Government considering price. Quotes are due 23 March 2006, 11:00 A.M. M.S.T.
