- REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FF561260656081 The Department of the Air Force, USAFE, 38 CSW / 700th Contracting Squadron / LGCB has a requirement for a non-personal as described in paragraph 2. In order to be considered for a contract award, all quotes must be received No Later Than (NLT) Close of Business (COB), 1630 hours, Monday 27 Mar 06. 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Nonpersonal services to provide all labor, tools, parts, material, facilities, knowledge, and transportation required to rent a forklift. 1.1 REQUIREMENTS: 1. The forklift shall have a capacity to lift 16000kg from ground level up to a height of 4750 mm. Forks shall be a minimum of 2400 mm in length, hydraulic fork spread is required to fit the pockets of 20? containers. Thickness of forks shall be designed to fit into container pockets and extend through at least two skids. 2. Driver?s cabin with full weather protection, heating and air conditioning shall be included. Full service maintenance shall be included without additional cost. 3. Forklift must be equipped with pneumatic tires that allow operations in rough terrain. 4. The forklift to be furnished under this contract shall be in good, safe and serviceable operational condition. It is the contractor?s responsibility that the forklift comply with all paplicable safetly rules and regulations promulgated by the Federal Republic of Germany. 5. A visual inspection shall be performed upon receiving of the forklift on site as well as departing from site by both contractor and government representative. Damage shall be photographed and documented. 1.2 REPAIRS: If the forklift becomes inoperable and cannot be repaired within 48 hours it will be considered off-hire and payment will be suspended until repair is completed. POC: Mr. Hilmar Herrmann Period of Performance: 15 Apr 06 -14 Apr 07 with options to extend.
