- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System has a requirement for annual inspection, maintenance and testing for the water-based fire protection systems at the University Drive, Highland Drive and Delafield Road Divisions, Pittsburgh, PA. Services shall be provided by a sprinkler contractor who has been engaged in the inspection, testing and maintenance of automatic sprinkler systems for at least the past three- (3) years and performed in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 25. Contract Services include, but are not limited to, Main Drain Tests, Wet Pipe Sprinkler Control Valves and Gauges, Dry Pipe Sprinkler Systems, Annual Test of Antifreeze Loop, Fire Hydrant System/Post Indicator Valves, and Fire Pump. Period of performance is effective May 1, 2006 through September 30, 2006 with two (2) one year renewals at the Government's option. This is a 100% set-aside procurement for small business. The NAICS code is 238220 with a small business size standard of $13.0M.
