- The Federal Prison Camp Alderson, WV is seeking a qualified accedited institution of post-secondary education as recognized by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS) and who is listed in the directory of Accredited Institution of Post-Secondary Schools, to provide post-secondary education classes/services to the female inmate population at FPC Alderson. This acquisition will be for a firm fixed price non-personal service requirements contract. The contract will run from date of award through 12 months with the Government's unilateral right to exercise one (1) option year. The contractor will be required to provide six (6) courses per semester/on site. The courses must lead to the completion of a certificate program that does not exceed 15 college hours in duration. This solicitation will be available on or after April 3, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organization have the right to submit offers equally with other organization for contracts for which they are eligible.
