Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08. The requirement is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The NAICS Code is 238990. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipt of $13.0 million. Solicitation number HSCG28-06-Q-3X3212 applies. A Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order is anticipated. The Contractor to provide labor, material and equipment to renovate second deck bathroom, in accordance with statement of work/specifications below. Specifications: 1. North 2nd Floor Shower ? Tile inside shower area and shower entry area with white tile 8? square. Replace shower pan to match new shower tile. Replace/upgrade lighting fixture with new lamp and electrical vent/fan unit. Install 40-gallon water heater above suspended ceiling of existing shower to provide instant hot water. Replace existing shower mixing valve and head with the ones removed from the demolished shower stalls. Install bench that would be provided by customer. 2. South 2nd Floor Bathroom ?(A) Tile inside shower area and shower entry area with white tile 8? square. Replace shower pan to match new shower tile. Replace/upgrade lighting fixture with new lamp and electrical vent/fan unit. Install 40-gallon water heater above suspended ceiling of existing shower to provide instant hot water. Replace existing shower mixing valve and head with the ones removed from the demolished shower stalls. Install privacy door at entry of shower foyer. (B) Remove two existing tiled shower, shower pans and partitions and retile floor with quarry tile to match existing. Cap off water lines and conceal in wall area, and paint all wall in the room area. Shower fixtures shall be saved for reinstallation to other locations. Install suspended ceiling. Install one 120 VAC wall outlet and phone jack. At room entry area install one solid core 3? 0? x 7?0? door jam with standard lockable lockset.
