- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items, The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB is soliciting offers to for the purchase and installation of a new pavilion and 11 picnic tables at San Antonio Park. Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, freight costs, installation costs, facilities, transportation and supervision necessary to provide: Installation of One (1) pavilion/shelter to include site preparation and concrete work/foundation work. Contractor also to provide 10 picnic tables and 1 ADA approved picnic table and a 20-foot long ADA approved sidewalk. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number F4D3F86005A100 and will be issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02 and DFARS Change Notice 20040625. The SIC code is 3448 and the size standard is 500 employees. The NAICS is 332311. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The contractor will purchase and install one shelter/pavilion 50 ft in diameter, 8 sided with 4/12 pitch roof. The beams, posts, and roof will be steel. Roof color for the standing seam roof will be Forest Green and the powder coat color for the steel columns and structure will be Dark Chocolate. Service and Warranty to be included. Contractor shall provide all necessary work to properly prepare site and install the new pavilion/shelter to meet the manufacturer safety requirements. Contractor will unload truck and perform all concrete work/concrete foundation. The quote should include site preparation and ground leveling. Contractor must ensure all safety requirements are met while on the job and that all of the equipment and pieces after completion of job are removed and disposed of off base. Destination for Delivery: San Antonio Park, Vandenberg AFB, CA 93437. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday February 2, 2006 at 10:00 am local time. Due to the nature of this project, it is highly encouraged that all offerors attend the site visit. All bidders who plan to attend the site visit must submit the names of personnel from your firm no later than 1:00 pm local time Wednesday February 1, 2006. The provision at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items (Jan 2004), 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999) apply to this acquisition. This item is being procured and will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR subpart 13.
