- The Presolicitation Notice for Phase I of Design-Build solicitation number SALMEC-06-R0056 is hereby changed as follow: delete the first paragraph under Phase II in attachment 1, Submission Requirements, Evaluation and Solicitation Procedures with the following. "The submissions received in response to the Phase II formal solicitation shall be submitted in the formats provided and will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation procedures contained in the solicitation. It is anticipated that a site visit/pre-proposal conference will be conducted with the pre-qualified firms within 15 days after the issuance of the design-build Request for Proposal (RFP). To offset some of the cost of the site visits and other related costs, pre-qualified firms that do not receive the design-build award will be paid $10,000.00 for responsive project proposal they submit in Phase II." Please note the change in reimbursement for a responsive project proposal submitted in Phase II from $20,000.00 to $10,000.00. All other terms and conditions remain the same. CLOSING: All submittals must be received by 12:00, noon, EST April 17, 2006. TRANSMISSION OF PROPOSALS: Offerors are advised to hand deliver or submit proposals by courier (FedEx, UPS Express Mail, DHL, ETC.) to the following address (so not use the U.S. Postal Service (PO Box) address.) U.S. Department of State, Attn: Nick Dinkel, A/LM/AQM/FDCD/AE, Room L-600, 1701 North Fort Myer Drive, Arlington, VA 22209. Include the solicitation number, on the face of the package.
