- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation for Night Vision Goggles. The following items are required: 001: Generation II Night Vision Goggles, ATN NVG7-2 (Brand name or equal), quantity: 195. 002: Headset with chin strap, quantity: 195. 003: Soft carrying case, quantity: 195. *All items to be delivered to the American Ebassy, Quito, Ecuador on or about 4/27/2006. Vendors should provide a detailed description of items quoted. This description must establish brand name or equal status to the equipment listed in line item 001. Award will be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable. The Government intends to make one award but may make multiple awards if determined to be more advantageous to the Government. In order to receive an award, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quotation for consideration. Quotations are due by 2:00 p.m., March 23, 2006 via email or fax.
