TONY FLORES @ (907) 228-0366/617-1181 OR MS DOROTHY ZURA @ (907) 463-2111.**********This is a combined synopsis/solicitation to INTERIOR PAINTING PROJECT: HSCG35-06-Q-6ZV037 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 112.6 as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. The U.S. Coast Guard requires a contractor fully qualified in the field of painting to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and incidentals to prepare and paint, as specified, the interior surfaces of the U.S. Coast Guard housing unit located on Lifesaver Drive, Sitka, AK (Alaska). There are 12 units to be painted which consist of; nine (9) three bedrooms (5,103 sq ft each) with five (5) three bedrooms (OPTIONAL); five (5) two bedrooms (3,779 sq ft each) with five (5) two bedrooms (OPTIONAL). The estimated start work date is mid/late May 2006, with a performance period up to end of September 2006. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238320 and the applicable size standard is $11.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responses small business may submit a quotation. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about March 21, 2006) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on the website. Prospective quoters are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of due (closing) date of April 21, 2006 for receipt of quotations. The technical data package (specifications and/or drawings) will only be available through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FEDTeDS) website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FEDTeDS database to be able to access the technical data package. A plan holder?s list will not be available for this project from ISC Ketchikan. Vendors are encouraged to register their interest by entering their information in the Interested Vendors List (IVL) for this solicitation in FedBizOpps. The award of this solicitation will be on or before May 1, 2006. Offers are due on April 21, 2006, by 4:00 pm local time.
