- U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to solicit an offer from a single source to (ViaTech Systems Inc.) to provide uninterrupted IT equipment maintenance support to ensure continued operation and expeditious equipment repair for approximately 40,000 personal computers and similar quantities of related IT peripherals deployed world-wide. The following types of services is needed until a bridge Competitive contract for IT Equipment Maintenance Services and Repair is issued under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bid. However, all information received by close of business on 03/27/2006 will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered when the competitive procurement is issued. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement. All inquiries will only be accepted by FAX or email to the Point of Contact below.
