- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is H92244-06-Q-0057 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-08 effective 5 January 2006. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 238990. The list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure procured are as follows: CLIN 0001 Magnex 130 Underwater Magnetometer, Quantity 6 each. Magnex 130 is an iron locator (magnetometer) which detects only ferromagnetic objects. It has three sensitivity ranges of Low, Medium and High. It has visual and audible detection signals and audio indication of field polarity. CLIN 0002 Expedited Shipping Charges for Clin 0001 Required delivery date is 14 days after date of contract. Deliver to Naval Special Warfare Development Group, 1636 Regulus Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23461-2299. The provision at FAR 52.202-1 Definitions (July 2004) applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price considered. The following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: technical competence, past performance and price. Technical and past performance, when combined, weigh more heavily than price.
