- Description
- The proposed action is for balancing machine equipment for which the Government intends to solicit only one source (Schenck.) The Navy intends to upgrade an exisiting instrumentation and drive to support production schedules. Specifically, the Schenck equipment being obtained is as follows: Schneck Model CAB 690H Instrumentation upgrade, drive system upgrade, pickups and pickup rods. Interested persons may identify their capability to provide this equipment; this notice is not a request for quotes. However, all capability information received by 30 March 2006 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to issue a competitive solicitation based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government and capability information received will be solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offers shall be received at FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, Bldg. 2B, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111 no later than 4 PM (local time) on 30 March 2006.
