- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following: 1) Contractor to perform failure modes and effects criticality analysis (FMECA) using reliability prediction failure rates for events leading to the premature function of the FMU-143E/B Fuse and configuration analysis for approximately 200 electrical components and mechanical parts and a Fault Tree Analysis for events leading to the premature function of the FMU-143E/B Fuze (Quantity - 1 each). This requirement is sole sourced to Item Software Inc. due to proprietary data of the software for developing fault trees and FMECAs. Any firms believing that they can provide this material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later that 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing it's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
