- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 7, intends to award a sole source procurement to the Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation, to collect approximately 3,000 biological samples from remote villages throughout the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta Region of Alaska. These samples will be collected from hunter harvested migratory birds by using proper safety precautions, collection of the necessary data along with the samples, ensure that the samples are stored properly until shipping and these samples will be collected by personnel that can answer human health questions related to avian influenze. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government does not intend to accept proposals received. Award will be made 15 days after publication of this notice.
