- Requirement for award of a firm-fixed price contract to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to construct Veterans Plaza at the Commemorative Area, Fort McCoy, WI in accordance with specifications, drawings and co nditions contained in the Request for Proposal. The plaza consists of concrete monument wall, statue monument, monument benches, walkway with planters, viewing area, flagpoles, decorative lighting, plaques, and lettering. Work includes, but is not limite d to concrete work to include stamping and coloring, masonry, and electrical. Government furnished items include, but may not be limited to lights, limestone flagstone, limestone caps, statues and flagpoles. The project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will be required after award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238110 with a small business size standard of $13 Million. This Request for Proposal wil l be solicited on an unrestricted basis. Proposal documents will be available electronically at www.fedbizops.gov on or about 5 April 2006. Telephonic, written, faxed, or electronic request for hard copies of proposal documents will be denied. Intereste d parties must access the web page for issuance of the Request for Proposal, associated documents, and any amendments that may be issued. Contractors will NOT be directly notified of amendments. The Offer due date will be approximately 30 days after issu ance (initial posting on website) as indicated on Request for Proposal. All proposal forms, bid bonds, and other documents required for proposal submittal shall be in paper medium. Electronic submission of proposal documents will NOT be allowed. All resp onsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
