- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCBB has a requirement for consumable laboratory supplies. The supplies will be delivered to Patrick AFB, FL. Period of performance/expected delivery date is 30 days after receipt of an award. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-04-T-0086 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 5047, business size of 500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 423450. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 27 March 2006 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail.
