Application: F110 Engine. Destination: Tinker AFB, OK 73145-3032, Size/Dimension: 10 inches long X 2.5 inches in diameter with various shapes, angles and radll. Material: Low alloy steel. FORM/FIT/FUNCTION DESCRIPTION: Actuator, Variables: The actuator is a simple and uncushioned hydraulic cylinder driven in either direction by high pressure fuel. Packaging Requirement: MIL-STD-2073-1 D, Standard practice for military marking. Military packaging and markings as follows IAW AFMC Form 158. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on the requirement. Surplus Material will be considered in the type /categories: New and unused; means materiel not having been previously installed and not showing evidence of deterioration, evidence of disassembly or reassembly, nor any evidence of reconditioning in any manner. Gov?t/Commercial surplus, Acceptable, P/N and MFG Verification, prior gov?t ownership. Qualificat0ion requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualified source(s) are; Arkwin Industries Inc. Cage: 98391. The qualifications requirements for these items were established prior to 10 OCT 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. The qualification requirements apply to all line items. The approximate issue date of RFQ will be 8 Apr 2006. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation and posted on FedBizOps. Only written or faxed request s received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Authority: 10 USC 2304(C)(1). Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number sources under the authority of F the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider al AR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to l proposals received within forty-five (45) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacture meets qualification requirements at the time of the award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as sited in each individual solicitation.
