- Project is to perform precommercial thinning and release of conifer plantations on approximately 494 acres of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, South Fork Management Unit, Trinity County, California. Contractor will thin and release Douglas fir and ponderosa pine plantations to about 150 trees per acre. All vegetation within a 5-foot radius of the chosen crop or leave tree will be released. No organized pre-quote tour will be held. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about April 4, 2006.
