- BRAND NAME ONLY ACQUISITION for Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors RFQ# FA4809-06-Q-0116 The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a 100% small business set-aside purchase order for Brand Name Only Products Manufactured by General Electric/Krautkramer. Required items are two (2) Ultrasonic Portable Flaw Detectors, and two (2) Soft Cases. The items to be purchased are: CLIN 0001: General Electric/Krautkramer Portable Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors, Model: USN-58L, Quantity 2 Each. CLIN 0002: General Electric/Krautkramer Soft Cases for USN-58L, Quantity 2 Each. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. Only One Brand Name Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. The closing date for this synopsis is 20 March 2006 at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. The anticipated award date is 22 March 2006.
