Description
The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound has a requirement for one system, Paint Booth ?Turnkey?. THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The requirement is for one unit of on-site installed-Paint Booth ?Turnkey? System. The system shall be a side-downdraft ventilated industrial dry filter paint spray booth enclosure with exhaust filter chambers on both sides of the enclosure and supply air shall come from the ceiling of the enclosure. The system shall be designed to automatically keep the paint booth balanced during operation. A detailed specification will be attached in the solicitation. The requirement for the Paint Booth ?Turnkey? system is to include the preparation of the work site, the assembly, installation, testing of the equipment, and the training of operator and maintenance personnel. The Government will provide a cleared area within a shop building for the installation of the proposed equipment and utility services as required by the contractor installation drawings for the proper operation of the equipment. The dimension of the Paint Booth System will be a maximum of 12 feet wide x 12 feet long x 10 feet high. The maximum work piece weight: 15,000 pounds. This is a pre-solicitation. A solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.This procurement effort will be processed in accordance with FAR Parts 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and 13.5?Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The system will be delivered at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA 98314 on an FOB Destination basis. The Period of Performance is 120 days after contract award.
