- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division has a requirement for major repair and test of AN/SPS-49 Klystron Traveling Wave Tubes (TWT) originally manufactured by Communications and Power Industries, Inc. The TWTs are to be repaired in accordance with NSWC Crane Statement of Work and Raytheon Specification numbers 975510, 706103, 975511-1, and 975511-2. The requirement is for Communications and Power Industries, Inc., 811 Hansen Way, Palo Alto, CA 94303-0750. The Government does not possess specifications to solicit on the basis of full and open competition. A five-year, Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity type contract is anticipated. CLIN 0001: AN/SPS-49 Klystron Traveling Wave Tubes, minimum quantity of 3 each and a maximum of 100 each; CLIN 0002 Data, 1 lot. Delivery will be FOB Destination, NSWC-Crane, Crane, Indiana 47522, within 180 days after receipt of orders. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by NSWC Crane personnel. This non-commercial solicitation shall be issued utilizing other than full and open competition procedures. This solicitation will be available on or about 30 March 2006 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/synopcom.htm . The offeror will be required to submit past performance and price proposal information. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. The source must download from the www site listed. Offer must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on ?Submit Bid? does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of the offeror to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane. NAICS Code 334411; FSC Code 5810.
