- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is for the production of Airborne Scraper/Water Distributor Systems (ASWDS). Original production contract was for four years. Contract is extended to five years with five option years. Extended production is for estimated 28 each Wate r Dis tributors and 105 each Scrapers. Sole Source: Caterpillar, Inc. Defense and Federal Products.
