Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The US Army Tank Automotive Command intends to negotiate solely with MTS Systems Corporation, 14000 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344  the licensor and owner of the product. A written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request fo r Quotation number is AMSRDT-AR-1-1606. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08, dated 05 Jan 06. The associated standard industrial classification code is 7379 w ith a size standard of $18 million. The requirement is for one additional license of RPC Pro Analyze simulation software to be installed in the TARDEC Physical Simulation Laboratory. FOB Destination will apply. No options will be included. Equipment is for AMSRD-TAR-N, Warren, MI. This acquisition is unrated. Numbered Note 22 applies except that proposals and/or any questions must be submitted electronically, either by email to chutorae@tacom.army.mil or fax to 586 574-5155 / Attention: Elaine Ch utorash. Offers are due no later than 12:00 noon, 22 Mar 06.
