- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propos als are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ACA, Directorate of Contracting (Fort Bliss, TX) is soliciting for one (1) transaxle mounted generator and trailer support for ECU (Environment Control Unit) to support the rapidly dep loyable Base-X (Beau Maurer, Inc) shelter system or equivalent. All Base-X (Beau Maurer, Inc) or equivalent equipment is HMMWV towable and air transportable. Powerful 4 cylinder turbo-charged engine generator provides the 35kw with power for over eight ( 8) hours on one (1) fuel tank. Easy to operate with easy install air ducts and quick connect auxiliary fuel fitting designed for Base-X shelter system.for the period of performance from 30 March 2006 until 26 April 2006. Quote includes flat rates for the Fort Bliss (El Paso) and McGregor Range (NM) areas. If selected, the contractor must be registered i n the Central Contractor Registration (CCR at http://www.ccr.gov) in order to receive the award at the time of selection. All items must be delivered to F ort Bliss, Texas, no later than 27 March 2006. The solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The following provisions and clauses apply: FAR and DFAR Clauses 52.203-6, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.219-6, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.225-1, 52.225-13 , 52.232-1, 52.232-33, 52.243-1, and 252.2004-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. The preferred method of submission is electronic email to michael.rias@us.army.mil or by fax to 915-568-6111. The award will be made on the aggregate of the r equirement and will be a firm-fixed price contract. The Government will award resulting from this solicitation to the offeror who submits the lowest price technically acceptable offer to the Government considering price. Quotes are due 23 March 2006, 1 1:00 A.M. M.S.T.
