Description
A three-year long-term IDIQ contract is contemplated. Line Item 0001, NSN: 2840K0602937BPR, Part Number: 737L732G01, Noun: Kit, Cam & Roller Mod. Description: Main Engine Control Cam & Roller Modification Kits applicable to F110-GE-100 Engines, F-16 Aircraft. Kit contains part numbers 3035-560 (NSN 3040-01-513-5816) and 1412-502 (NSN 3110-00-116-8469), one each. BEQ for 3 year period is 639 ea; Minimum quantity is 200 ea, Maximum quantity is 800 ea. Line Item 0002, NSN: 2840K0602938BPR, Part Number: 737L730G01, Noun: Kit, Cam & Roller Mod. Description: Main Engine Control Cam & Roller Modification Kits applicable to F110-GE-129 Engines, F-16 Aircraft. Kit contains part numbers 3035-558 (NSN 3040-01-513-5195) and 1412-502 (NSN 3110-00-116-8469), one each. BEQ for 3 year period is 218 ea; Minimum quantity is 100 ea, Maximum quantity is 300 ea. Estimated required delivery for both line items is to begin October 2006. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 15 MAR 2006. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 14 APR 2006. The anticipated award date will be 16 MAY 2006. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation to Woodward Governor (66503). No telephone requests. The solicitation must be printed from FedBizOps by the contractor. This office will not mail solicitations. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. 26. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation.
