Description

The Forest Service intends to contract for approximately 15 gooseneck hitches, 15 brake controllers, and two flatbeds to be installed onto Forest Service provided trucks and cab and chassis. Installation services may be at the Idaho Falls, Idaho, location to which all the new vehicles are scheduled for delivery to the Forest Service, or at each vehicle?s final delivery location: Idaho Falls, Idaho (8), Jackson, Wyoming (4), and Salmon, Idaho (3). The Forest Service will base their award on best value to the Government. Award for this order may be made to more than one offeror. The Forest Service will use the following factors to evaluate offers: price, past performance, and geographical location of vendor?s worksite. This is a total small business set aside. Offerors who intend to provide products that they do not themselves manufacture, must supply a product of a small business manufacturer. The solicitation will be available for downloading around March 20.
