- This is a sources sought announcement to aid the U.S. Forest Service in locating potential sources for the purchase of a refrigerated seedling trailer. It should be noted that this announcement is for planning and informational purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ). The following Request for Information (RFI) for this sources sought announcement is issued for purposes of conducting market research and encouraging companies to provide information in regard to their product. Firms should indicate whether or not that they are small or small disadvantage business concern as defined in FAR 52. 219-1. Response to this announcement is voluntary and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement, or any follow-on information requests. Data submitted in response to this announcement will not be returned. Place of delivery and acceptance shall be within a 300 mile radius of Halsey Nebraska. Responses are due at the Black Hills National Forest Office, 1019 N. 5th St., Custer, SD 57730 by 1:00 PM MT, 16 Feb. 06. Gooseneck standard 2 5/16? ball coupler, Dual tandem 10,000 lb. electric brake axles, 20,000 lb. GVWR 16? dual rims and tires, DOT compliant lighting, reflective tape, and break away safety kit, 7 prong RV quick change electric plug lead, Mud flaps, Dual heavy duty jacks. Refrigeration Area Adapted for blower type cooling unit in front wall, Permanently attached to gooseneck trailer, Approx. overall dimensions 20?L x 8?6?W x 6?8?H, White aluminum exterior, 3? steel crossills with 12? center on 20? body, Heavy duty 4? I-beam mailsills on 20? body, Extruded aluminum cargo floor, slip resistant, 2 1?
