Solicitation number (in subject line of your e-mail), name of the requestor, organization name, address, telephone and fax number, and your e-mail address. Use your e-mail read notification feature to confirm the contract specialist’s receipt of your registration. The Government is not responsible for any undelivered e-mail transmissions. It is the requestor’s responsibility to periodically check the IHDIV Contracts Division web-site for the current status of solicitation and amendments. Once the solicitation has been issued on the Internet, the contract specialist will send an e-mail message to the registered requestors informing them that the solicitation is avail able for downloading off the Internet. Copies of issued solicitations can only be obtained by downloading them from the IHDIV Contracts Division web-site at http://www.ih.navy.mil/contracts (copies of solicitations will not be e-mailed, faxed, mailed, or provided in person – these type of requests WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED.) The Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division has a requirement for the continued development of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Decision Support System (DSS). This is a continuation of the Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal (JEOD) Knowledge Technology Operational Demonstration (KTOD) Advanced Concept and T echnology Demonstration (ACTD). A primary focus of the ACTD is to develop and field knowledge technologies that capture use experiences for basic, advanced, and just-in-time training. The program uses advanced database techniques to deliver conceptualized views based upon perspective. The ACTD will assess the military utility of the EOD DSS and Technical Support Center (TSC) capabilities for determination of final transition to an initial operational and training capability and any follow-on acquisition requirements. Additionally the proposed contract will support the transition phase of the ACTD and provide transition entities the ability to continue development white the final acquisition program is developed and the transition plan is executed. This effort includes software engineering, communications and systems integration services, technology reviews, continued devel opment of the JEOD DSS Initial Operational Capability (IOC), and the TSC. Tasks contained in this SOW will continue the development and testing of the EOD DSS and begin to integrate the EOD DSS and TSC capabilities located at the Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV) Stump Neck, MD with the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD) at Eglin AFB. The North American Industry Classification for this requirement is 541710. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Award is to be based on best value to the government.
