Description

Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) sources sought for the following project: The contract will require that the Contractor provide all management, supervision, labor, sub-contractors, material, supplies and equipment, and plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective completion of all services described within the contract. The Contractor shall be fully responsible for repairing the existing curtain wall at the John F. Kennedy Federal Building, Boston, MA, which primarily involves recaulking the entire 27 story curtain wall system which is estimated to be comprised of 12,000 linear feet of caulk total. In addition, the glazing at the first and second floors (approximately 400 SF total) would have to be removed and the existing rusting back-up support steel completely replaced at these two floors (2 beams at approximately 9'-3' each). Note that the existing curtain wall mullions will remain intact and only the glass and steel will be replaced at the lower two floors. Estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS Code is 238150, but other NAICS codes that may apply, include 238190 and 238390. This is not a synopsis.
