The purpose of this purchase order is to develop a 7,000 square foot exhibition of "The Green House: New Directions in Sustainable Architecture and Design", which will be presented in Washington, DC for 10 months, and moved to cities across the US during 2007-2008. The exhibit will be accompanied by educational programming for professionals, the general public, and youths. The NBM will also provide Educational Programming development and Communications/PR exposure. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 712110. NO SOLICITATIONS OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. The National Building Museum is the only cultural institution in the U.S. That is dedicated to American achievement in architecture, urban planning, construction, engineering, design, and sustainable development. By documenting and promoting energy efficient and sustainable building practices through the exhibit, the Museum will engage a national public dialogue around critical issues. The Museum is uniquely qualified to bring together this targeted audience of national media, trade associations, publications, and other public and private stake holders to support a large-scale, nationally publicized exhibit focusing on sustainability in residential building covering building materials, consumer products and energy systems. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a capabilities statement, which if received by the response date of this announcement may be considered. Responses to posting must be in writing and submitted to Nicole Humphrey, Contract Specialist at humphrey.nicole@epa.gov.
